You know the world of Television and Media is shifting. I find that I have just as much anticipation on new HTGuys podcasts as any of my favorite TV shows. It just seems odd to me that "Podcasts" have not yet the popular market more that it has. I had the same thought after I purchased my first TiVo back in June of 2000. Why even after nine years is TiVo still struggling. Granted now PVR/DVR recorders of various flavors are a lot more common now, but I still don't know why it took so long.
As an example my first Series 1 TiVo had 14 hours of record time. (I could not see how I would fill the thing when I purchased it) A near lightning strike took out my first TiVo within a month. The day I sent that TiVo in for repair I made my second TiVo purchase (30 Hours) as I did not want to live without it!
I see Podcasts almost the same way. An Excellent resource, but the mainstream population just does not "get it" yet, or imho the perfect application for podcast has yet to be created. It also could be that it is difficult to find the "Great" content through all the content that is out there.
I did not mean for this to get long winded, so I will end it here. Thanks again Ara and Braden, keep up the GREAT work. I will keep supporting you where I can, and when I win the Lottery, I will make sure you both get paid what you really deserve!
